  1. Karen C. says:

Before I watch this and comment, I just wanted to say it was so nice to see a different expression on Travis’ brother’s face….

  2. Jodi’s mother and g/mother went to the jail to visit her. The g/mother was not in the w/chair…she got out of the car and walked in the jail.

  3. Karen C. says:

Well, there you go. No need to keep up the pretense anymore.

  4. Newbie says:

I am surprised she was allowed to interview with Fox right after the verdict ! I am also surprised she was interviewed by Greta. I do hope the Sheriff of the County puts his foot down.

  5. margaret says:

I hope Martinez sees the video and not let her schmooze the jury that she really wants to die.. I can’t believe the things she said in that interview..She finally looked at her mother, like saying “fix This ” I really believe that the verdict really knocked her socks off, I may be wrong, but I truly believe that if she were freed, a few of Travis friends would be in danger..

She won’t have to worry about her panties anymorre, Sheriff Joe only allows pink..I could not help but think of Caylee today when I saw the crowd outside yelling , happy with the verdict.. That should have been her verdict too but sadly it will never be..

  6. Margaret~~I was thinking that Casey Anthony should have had the crowds cheering her guilty verdict…I wish they had a Juan Martinez in Florida…

The aggravation phase begins tomorrow at 4:00 pm ET/1:00 pm in Phoenix. There will be opening statements, testimony, and closing arguments in this phase. The State will try to convince jurors that the aggravator of “cruelty” was proven. Jurors will deliberate and determine if it was proven beyond a reasonable doubt. #Jodiarias

  8. Vicky says:

Jodi Arias is living proof that evil people exist in the world and left unchecked can and will reek havoc wherever they are. IMO, Jodi is now making a last ditch effort to save her own life by having it argued that the DP, even if imposed, should not be carried out due to mental illness. She will ride that train in order to keep herself in the public eye for as long as possible. It does not matter to her whether the attention is negative or positive as long as the public eye is on her and she can read or hear about herself.
For her to claim to be a “spiritual” person is a bunch of crap. IMO, her soul took a walk with the devil many years ago, and never returned.
Travis’ spirit began seeking justice the moment she took his life here on earth. Today, he found peace. And because of Travis and those who spoke for him, Jodi Arias will never bring harm another human being.
My prayer for Jodi Arias is that she will turn away from the evil she has embraced and seek forgiveness from God and those she has harmed. Then again, she might want to continue her walk with the devil throughout eternity.

  9. debl115 says:

I hope that Juan is able to show her post trial interview in court. According to the talking heads, she is playing to the jury that she prefers death over life in prison; as if the jury is watching all of that. Like Travis said, she is only crying for Jodi. Excuse my French, but xxxxx you Jodi, we are all crying for Travis, not you. Rot in hell, Jodi.

  10. margaret says:

Listening to Levi Page radio show with Pat Brown. They said jodi couldn’t be on Greta tonight because she is on suicide watch. Did it to herself once again. LOL She will learn Sheriff Joe doesn’t play.. Twitter must have been shut down as soon as verdict was read.

  11. shyloh says:

Doing the happy dance!!!! Yaaaa for justice!!!

  12. gramared says:

If Sheriff Joe has his way, Jodi will be wearing a stylish orange jumpsuit to court today. She has had it easier than she realizes for the past five years and is in for one rude awakening when she goes to maximum security prison. Needless to say, it’s about time. One of the attorneys commenting said that just visiting a client for a short time in that environment is enough to drive one bonkers.

That interview was too much, and Greta was disappointed she didn’t get it. She was curious what happened to JA’s attorneys and why they weren’t in the holding cell with her. Others were commenting that they felt the interview was simply Jodi’s attempt to use “reverse psychology” hoping someone would hear and get the info to JM so that he would go for LWOP instead of the DP. She never ceases to amaze, and not in a good way.

  13. Sarah says:

I wonder if Juan is going to use the police interview tape where the killer is telling Det Flores that IF she had done something like that she would have worn gloves and would try to be more humane (kill him quickly). That right there tells me that she KNOWS she was torturing Travis while he was dying. Very Cruel.

    Definition of the word: cruel

    cru·el [kroo-uhl] Show IPA
    adjective, cru·el·er, cru·el·est.
    1.
willfully or knowingly causing pain or distress to others.
    2.
enjoying the pain or distress of others: the cruel spectators of the gladiatorial contests.
    3.
causing or marked by great pain or distress: a cruel remark; a cruel affliction.
    4.
    rigid; stern; strict; unrelentingly severe.
    Origin:
1175–1225; Middle English < Anglo-French, Old French < Latin crūdēlis, equivalent to crūd ( us ) (see crude) + -ēlis adj. suffix

  14. Sarah says:

Shyloh: Where have you been?! Good to see you again!

I’m still on cloud nine about the verdict. There is no way she will ever leave that jail. Pundits are saying that the judge could give her parole. Right. Only if she wants a short career.

  15. Tommy'sMom says:

Just a few of the thoughts I had. JMHO of courrse.
Does anyone believe anything this woman has to say?
Does anyone believe Juan hide evidence?
Is her oppinion of Juan believed or important to anyone except her?
Why does she continue to lie about Travis and children?
Does she really want the DP?

    Answers:
NO she is a liar of the first order.
NO there was no edivence to hide, even her team can’t dispute this.
NO he is a well respected lawyer with a good reputation.
She contiues her lying in order to hurt Travis’s family and friends.
NO she is in love with herself and couldn’t stand to no longer by the star of GP.

I am so glad the family will go after her for wronful death. No profit for her, ever.

  16. I think from all I have seen, read and heard about JA, she is a scary individual because she is so f*n’ clever, quick and devious. I don’t think she can be trusted,I don’t think she can be believed, I don’t think she will ever be redeemed, I don’t think she has any remorse. For all these reasons, it would be good for her to receive LWOP. To kill her directly gives her ‘supporters’ a chance to make her into a martyr, bury her alive in a maximum security environment where she doesn’t have a voice, a presence, and let her fade into obscurity… that is the best way to obliterate this evil, IMO.

  17. margaret says:

I wonder if she was a happy camper when she awoke this morning !! Wouldn’t you have loved to have been there ? T caught her in 5 lies during her interview..She only agreed because she thought she could impress another man..She would have refused if it had been a woman..Can’t wait until she is handed over for good to Sheriff Joe…

Saw her grandmother walking on news,, seemed kinda spry to me.. Trying to deceive to the bitter end..

  18. gramared says:

Margaret…I saw granny leaving the jail as well, walking without a bit of trouble. Is there an honest nut hanging from that family tree?.

  19. Sarah says:

I’m waiting for the dramatic breakdown on the stand……..she’ll go so far as having to be carried out on a stretcher.

  20. Tommy'sMom says:

Snoopy I don’t know if you can answer this but here goes. If she gets LWOP can she appeal? If yes,how long would it take?
From what I’ve read appeals take a long, long time. If she can appeal and by some quirk of fate the verdict is overturned, she’s retried and it’s Man 1 she could get 22+ and time served she’d still be pretty darned old with looks gone when she gets out. Any answers, anyone?

  21. Sarah says:

Tommys Mom: This is what I have found so far

Unlike death penalty cases, however, LWOP sentences receive no special consideration on appeal, which limits the possibility they will be reduced or reversed. A person sentenced to die in prison receives only one automatic appeal, not several, and is not provided any court-appointed attorneys after this appeal is complete, usually within two years of the initial sentence.

    Source:https://www.aclunc.org/issues/criminal_justice/death_penalty/the_truth_about_life_without_parole_condemned_to_die_in_prison.shtml

  22. Tommy'sMom says:

    Thanks so much Sarah
Now in as much as Nurmi tried twice to get off her case,do you think he has to do the appeal?

  23. Sarah~~are all states the same regarding the DP and appeals? I could be wrong but I thought in Florida, if one got the DP, there was an automatic appeal that had to be filed within the first sixty days after sentencing. Any sentence can be appealed but it costs money. Cheney Mason filed an appeal for Casey Anthony so it would delay the Zenaida case and Casey could plead the fifth if that civil trial had proceeded. You can rest assured that Nurmi or Willmott will not be filing an appeal for Jodi… I believe she will be appointed a public defender if she does appeal the DP.

If Jodi gets sentenced to death, she will sit on death row for at least 12 years. By that time the DP may be abolished in Arizona.

  24. TommysMom~~you can rest assured that Jodi will fire both Nurmi and Willmott. She has to blame someone because in her thinking, she did nothing wrong. Jodi doesn’t want the DP…her stint on Fox News was more of her manipulation. Jodi is in a psych ward at the jail on suicide watch. I wonder if she will make it into court.

  25. gramared says:

Maybe she likes the psych ward better than “regular” jail – more attention because there are people watching her. Anything for attention, that’s her MO.

  26. Sarah says:

This is for the State of Arizona: Go to the “Appeals process” page. This is for Capital Punishment

    https://www.azag.gov/sites/default/files/sites/all/docs/Criminal/ccc/Final-CapPun.pdf

Snoops: I don’t know if it’s the same in all states. (busy cleaning this open hut…..darn, the sand is so annoying). I should be through in about 45 minutes and will devote more time to researching a life sentence appeals process in the state of Arizona.)

  27. Sarah says:

One more thing: I was livid when I found out Baez was on After Dark last night. I do not want to hear anything from that slimy used car salesman or anyone who was on that team. I know he was doing his job; I just don’t agree with the way he did it.

  28. FYI~~ No court today….not until May 15th….

  29. Another Jodi tactic……..

  30. Sarah says:

    Unfreakin’ believable. So, Jodi Arias.

  31. Sarah says:

All I can think about is Travis’ siblings.

  32. jayelle sea says:

Let me guess, another “migraine headache”, what a control freak, she is a migraine!! What wasn’t she given a psychiatric evaluation from the get go. These psychologists can be so flaky, after all it’s not an exact science, it’s all subjected. She’s a psychopath, it’s all about Jodi, everyday all the time!!

  33. gramared says:

    Michelle Lee@myhlee (AZ Central)
Travis Alexander families still inside the courtroom. Media never got to go in. Court staff came out and told us no court today.
    1:29
    Chris Williams@chriswnews

I saw some #TravisAlexander family arrive, saw #JodiArias family. Have seen neither leave canceled hearing

  34. gramared says:

    Michelle Lee@myhlee (AZ Central)
Families are leaving. Asked Travis Alexander family/friends why court was canceled but they didn’t want to talk.

  35. Sarah says:

grams: I think it’s smart on Travis’ families part to keep their mouthes closed; for now. Can’t wait until it’s all over to hear what they have to say.

  36. Jodi’s lawyers may have quit or she fired them…..

  37. Jodi’s family still in courtroom

  38. Jury still in jury room

  39. I would say Jodi had a panic attack….

  40. Kevin Horn was present today so the state was ready to go forward…

  41. jayelle sea says:

Well she’s going to be in a panic room all right, probably striped bare, no sheets, good one Jodi, how smart is that. To bad intelligence ain’t wisdom in this case, what a drama queen.

  42. Jayelle~~Jodi is still running the show…I could not picture her entering that courtroom today…

  43. redrelaxed says:

If the delay is her…She’s faking whatever is wrong with her unless the suicide watch went wrong, and I don’t believe she’d take her own life…that ship has sailed with a cargo of razor blades. The families are still in the courtroom. Strange , but with JA nothing would surprise me. That interview she gave was chilling…no apology to the family, just more blaming and finger pointing.
When asked if she’d do anything differently when she discovered blood on her hands in the desert, she said she’d turn around and head to the Mesa police station. How about you’d never kill Travis Jodi if you the chance to do anything differently. Ack…she’s demented.

  44. I think Jodi can waive the penalty phase and ask for the death penalty… after all a narcissist would prefer death if they knew they would not have an audience…

  45. Attorneys in chambers….jurors still present…families for Travis and Jodi still present…

  46. HLN is not reporting the bomb threat yet???

  47. Newbie says:

I’ve watched HLN off and on this afternoon and heard nothing of the bomb threat. Earlier they had said something about Dr. Drew and one of his jurors being allowed into the Court room. I didn’t hear anything about that after the comment. Anybody else hear anything on that?

Just a little while ago they played the clip of Jodi saying something about trying to make a deal so Travis living as a hypocrit would not be known. What she had done was try to pull a blackmail stunt with her plea and she just had to remind everyone in her interview……grrrrrrr.

  48. Newbie~~I am tuned into HLN and am waiting to find out what took place today….I expect Jodi went totally beserk…. Jodi called Fox News on Sunday and arranged that interview all on her own… she wanted to announce…”Did you all mark my words? See I am innocent.” She looked very confident just before the verdict was read…

  49. Beth Karas

The Alexander family just went back into the witness room. Deanna Reid is with them. Martinez and Flores just left the 5th floor. Arias’s grandmother and mother left right after them. #jodiarias

  50. Newbie says:

Snoops, I wish I could remember where I saw this but the interviewer last night said he and Jodi had made a deal some time ago (4 months?) that if he did not run a clip he had of her he could have the first interview with her after a verdict and that she had stuck to her word on that….hmmmm.

  51. Newbie says:

I know I shouldn’t say this but…..I wonder what kind of a “plea” deal Jodi thinks she can make with God. She doesn’t have an honest thought in her body and you know she has no remorse. I don’t think she is going to be set free in death or see Travis in the next life !!!

  52. Newbie~~interesting. I am still waiting to see if HLN can tell us what happened…. sometimes they don’t get all their facts straight…

  53. Newbie says:

HLN showing clips regarding their coverage of the G Zimmerman-T Martin case. I don’t know about others, but I don’t think I have it in me to follow another case !

  54. Sarah says:

RED: Thank you so much for posting that letter.

Wow! What a snow job. She’s good. I give her that. She’s good. Just stroked his little ego up one side and down the other. Thank goodness he didn’t buy into it and testified honestly at the trial.

Arias is probably in shock that no one has bought her b.s. Her little mind is just a turning to come up with new and improved ideas. You can see the sparks flying around her cell now.

    Devil in disguise indeed.

  55. Sarah says:

OK. Is it me or is Jane Velez Mitchell’s voice getting on everyone else’s nerves?

  56. margaret says:

Does everyone remember the day casey trial shut down unexpectedly and it was because Mason wanted her to have an evaluation? Maybe that is whats going on with her.She knew what would happen when she said that crap about suicide she got to thinking she could play crazy and she won’t have to goto her new home.Sheriff Joe is making her decisions now Jodi thinks she is still calling shots

Why is Nurmi wanting impact statements on tape. I hope Alexanders refuse , stand tall and look her in the eye with all the disgust they have for her.

  57. Margaret~ ~anyone with an ego as big as Casey’s or Jodi’s cannot stand defeat. They generally threaten suicide but would never carry it out. Narcissists are too much in love with themselves to destroy such a wonderful person.

Nurmi and Willmott are trying to save face. I wonder how LaViolette, Dr Samuels, Donovan, Bryan Carr and all the idiots at the jodi is innocent site are tonight….oops I almost forgot Gus Searcy and the big feeling expert who put the image in Travis’ eye…Jodi was unarmed alright… BTW, did you hear her still trashing Travis on the Fox interviews? She is so evil…

  58. Vicky says:

I predicted in the last thread this was going to happen. Jodi is just enjoying her last few “moments” of world-wide attention. She is fully aware the gig is up, and plans to make the most of her final public performance.

  59. The picture quality is not the greatest but this looks like the entire interview between Jodi and Fox…

  60. Newbie says:

Snoops, you were soooo right in your feeling of Jodi not appearing in Court today and she running the show (still). You had it right early on today.

  61. Vicky~~yup, you called it correctly. I am going to fess up… I was a bit leery that we may not get unanimous on Murder One…getting Pre Med was a shocker…

  62. Newbie says:

Vicky, I must go back and see your comments on the last thread. I wonder if Juan figured this would happen…..lol. What a rip she is.

  63. redrelaxed says:

I do remember that…Thing is Margaret, she doesn’t have to play crazy…THIS one is bat chit loopy tunes. When you combine the personality and mental disorders, we get…Jodi Arias. The thing that freaks me out, is that these folks walk among us on a daily basis. We pay no serious mind to our instincts. People like JA may appears to be odd or off … but unbeknownst there is lurkiing beneath the surface something evil and sinister.

When we examine the lengths this woman went to in obtaining her means, it’s downright mind boggling. She found her niche in the LDS community, (although it seems they don’t have a visitation prison program so she has since stopped practising since they too have let her down). Jodi was hell bent on finding herself a lavish life style. To think that she could commit so henious a crime in one day and be on the road to her next meal ticket as if nothing ever happened is something most of us can’t even fathom. Well I can’t.

Jodi won’t ever take responsibilty for what she planned and did. She’ll never apologize for it, and she doesn’t regret butchering Travis. She portrays herself as justified in her actions. He deserved it and that’s that. So deal with it. I don’t think we know the half of what went on June 4. I’ve had this horrible feeling from the start that Travis suffered more than any of us can imagine.

Jodi is making Travis’s family suffer further. She’s not done… I read somewhere that the fight she had with her attorney’s after the verdict was mainly focused on the fact that NOW Travis’s family could remember him the way they wanted to…(not the way she lied and tried to portray him) That interview last night was very enlightening, and she booked that interview to make sure she had the last word. She may be trying to sabotage the Alexander family’s opportunity in telling her in court what they think of her and how she destroyed all of their lives forever on this earth. I hope she fails in this if that’s what she’s up to.

Didn’t mean to be so long winded. I am so relieved that this jury made the right decision. JA needs to be removed from society forever.

    All IMO
    ~Red

    .

  64. Newbie says:

I’m so with you Red. Now that I’ve seen most of the interview from last night, I wish she would commit suicide just so she can say no more. I can’t believe she went so far to say “and now the curtain is drawn”…..please….she thinks she lowered people’s opinion of Travis?? Hell, she gives herself more importance than she could ever have. I beg Sheriff Joe to find a way to keep her statements from becoming public !!!!!

  65. Newbie~~Here is some more…

Jodi Arias penalty phase postponed; man accused of threatening to blow up courthouse

A man holed up in a Phoenix hotel was arrested and accused of threatening to bomb the courthouse where jurors were to begin deciding whether convicted murderer Jodi Arias should get the death penalty, authorities said Thursday.

The man was identified as Laquint H. Cherry, described as “a local area resident.” He was being held on a felony terrorism charge.

Cherry resisted officers’ attempts to persuade him to surrender from his room in a hotel near Interstate 10 in Phoenix for several hours, all the while tweeting “threatening messages about not being taken alive” and warning that he would “kill the cops surrounding him,” the statement said.
“Eventually, Cherry was arrested without incident,” it said.

    http://radaronline.com/exclusives/2013/05/jodi-arias-alibi-ryan-burns-says-she-deserves-death-penalty/

  67. Newbie says:

Hmph….the Arias trial is over the top without some nut adding to it. I wonder what happens legally to someone who makes that type threat on twitter !!!
That was quite the letter Jodi sent to Burns, poor guy.

Snoops, this blog has been such a great resource during the trial. Thank you and a thanks to others who have contributed with their knowledge and personal feelings !

  68. Newbie says:

Whoops….I was talking about the bomb threat on twitter and what happened…..not Ryan Burns…lol.

  69. Vicky says:

Snoopy, since there is a break in the case, I wanted to provide a bit of comic relief. It is trial coverage related, so I hope you don’t mind. My son texted the link to me a few minutes ago. I’m still giggling.
    http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=779_1368139325

  70. Oh Vicky, that was hilarious… I am laughing so hard I am crying… I sure needed that…

  71. gramared says:

Vicky….Thanks for providing the comic relief. We need it!!! Too funny, but leave it to the one and only Jon Stewart to put things in perspective.

  72. Vicky says:

Snoopy and Gramared, I love John Stewart. When I viewed the video, I couldn’t resist. I’m glad you enjoyed it and that Snoops didn’t put me in time out for off topic. 🙂

  73. Sarah says:

Not sure if this has been posted. This is Jodi Arias Voice Mail to KSAZ-Fox 10’s Troy Hayden.

    Jodi’s Voice Mail to KSAZ

  74. jayelle sea says:

Calculating, manipulative, guile, murderer with no sense of remorse or decency. She wants to ruin Travis’s memory, well she never will. He was fooled by a seductress fantasizing vixen who will not stop spinning lies and deceit about him. She entrapped him in her little sick fantasies, taped him and we all know it. Maybe finally the sheriff will take control of this shrew.

  75. Sarah says:

In a way I’m glad that she has pulled this little stunt. It gives the Magic Juan more time to sharpen the nail that will go into her coffin.

What a doofus she is for going on that interview; which can be held against her. Leaving a freakin voice mail to a news reporter? She obviously had this in the works before Sunday May 5th! This just proves to me how cold and calculated she is. I hope JM uses this in court.

Watch: now she’s going to say her council was incompetent and ineffective.

Jayelle described this murderer the best.

  76. gramared says:

Jodi just can’t let go of her 15 minutes of infamy, and she will do EVERYTHING she can to keep her sick little world afloat – attention, attention, attention. As many of you have been saying, she needs to be stripped of her audience forever and forced to live with her narcissistic self, alone with her perverted thoughts. Death would be the easy way out for her. She needs to live and wither away in prison for the next 60 years or more (since her family has longevity and she doesn’t smoke!), knowing that she will NEVER see the outside world again, and that people aren’t giving her a second thought.

  77. shyloh says:

Sarah: I am more of a lurker now days ha. Snoopy just puts up with me showing up now and then. Love this place. Good to see you!

    What a trial huh??? Geesh!!!

  78. Sarah says:

But Gramared: the only problem I have with that is that she will run the darn prison. She’ll thrive off ANY audience. She acts like being in jail is no big deal to her.

She’s already acclimated to it for crying out loud. She’s figured out how to use the tweeting system from jail. She has a “fan” club who hugs her and asks for autographs.

Nope. Death is terrifying to Arias and I want her to live with that fear for the next 12 to 15 years before it’s carried out. And that’s IF it’s carried out. Just knowing that she’s living in fear for that many years alone would be justice to me.

She’s like Br’er Rabbit. “Don’t throw me in that briar patch”; that’s exactly what he wanted.
Arias is doing the same: don’t give me life, give me death. (She wants life).

  79. Jodi has a huge ego. The ego is very adverse to death, ending its rule… she is manipulating for LWOP, I suspect. BUT… a huge BUT… she might be looking for a chance to continue her public display with at least one re-trial… if she can get either an over-turned verdict or some failure in the system of her trial. The State of AZ is only obligated to provide one appeal, and after that, she will have to raise the funds herself (or from her supporters) for further legal aid. Psychopaths like her do not see jail in the same way others do… it’s just a ‘temporary’ situation until she can find the next loophole, game, whatever. She is always planning and plotting the next move. Being inside her mind must be like being on an 8-lane highway with multiple cloverleaves… I’ll bet one day there will be a guard who will have some stories to tell; she has already been disciplined for various attempts to thwart the jailhouse regulations. They, the guards, must have seen some manipulators, but I’ll bet even they are surprised by her, a master at the craft.

  80. Sarah says:

Shyloh: I never thought I would live to see a porno trial. I’m elated that Martinez brought it back to be about Travis. I can’t wait to hear what he has to say to Arias next. Instead of making her cry, I hope he causes her to wig out during the next couple hearings.

I have no mercy for Arias. None, nada, zilch.

You’re going to think I’m bats; but I actually had a little sympathy for Casey. Only because of her mother. I thought Casey should have gotten 30 to life. She’s another evil person. I hope I live long enough to see what her next slip up will be.

She’s another one that has BPD, imo. Just remembering all the photos of her and her boyfriends showed me that she too molded herself to what the current boyfriends beliefs were. She had emotional outbursts, lied and stole. (I think Arias did a lot of stealing too. It just hasn’t been proven or brought up in court. Well, except for the ring. I think she has stolen way more than that.)

    Good to see you again!

What are your thoughts on Arias? What would be justice for you; death or life?

  81. Sarah says:

    Sandy: great points. I agree.

Here’s a video reported by an ABC news station about what life-maxium prison is like AZ.

    http://www.abc15.com/dpp/news/region_phoenix_metro/central_phoenix/Jodi-Arias-verdict-What-life-will-be-like-behind-bars-for-Jodi-Arias

  82. Newbie says:

Just listened to the phone message Joddi left for Troy. She states “…if for some reason the jury comes back with ‘ first degree’…..” Wow ! “If for some reason” will never be the same to me.

If Ms. Arias ends up in general population, she will kill again imo.

  83. Hello everyone! Hey Shyloh, I love you popping in here!! Have been a bit busy in the real world trying to catch up after neglecting it for so long…

I think Jodi had gone totally beserk… but she will not commit suicide…she is getting lots of attention in the psych ward at the jail…

Sarah, thanks for posting all the links to some great info…it is appreciated!!

Chief Frank Milstead praised his detectives after the verdict and singled out Flores, who was also in the courtroom when the verdict came down.

“I told him that he did an incredible job. The fact that he was able to continue to lock in to different stories and show the madness that went on in her mind in reference to making up things I think was brilliant,” said Milstead.

Mesa Police and the Alexander family have been close throughout the past 5 years.

“I got to talk to several of the family members afterward. They wanted to first say thank you and I wanted to tell them we were proud to honorably represent what had occurred,” he said. “They were very complimentary of the work of the Mesa Police Department.”

  85. margaret says:

Good morning , Yackers.. I am thinking that the guilty party must have thought her guilty verdict meant she had gotten her freedom to speak any thing she wanted back.. Ha Ha on her.. She never thought Sheriff Joe was watching.. She knew what would happen because that was supposed to be her reason for saying that no jury would convict her.. She said she would have been sent to the rubber room..I am enjoying the picture of her in a glass walled room, a paper gown ,a cot and nothing else.. No makeup,no brush, and just think of all the writing and drawings she could be doing.. Have you all heard the phone call to station that did interview ? Still calling the shots.. I’ll bet she could go after Sheriff Joe for making her miss Greta show.. Did she call Greta too ? I’m thinking that reality is about to kick her in the booty . Vinnie says shes only allowed finger foods.. I love it. Wonder if she is doing her handstands in her paper gown.. Now theres a sight..

I think that if I were in that situation I would be planning on how to write an impact statement and begging for mercy.. Not our Einstien jodi . Shes planning how to manipulate this situation..

  86. I don’t think “reality” as you and I know it, Margaret, is something that has been dialed in by Jodi. Let’s just go back to her early years where she left home to create her own reality with those boyfriends who were curious characters… and talking about ‘buying a home’ with one of them… I n-e-v-e-r have gotten an answer to my question “WHERE is all the money coming from?” WHERE was Jodi getting the funds to buy a car, to buy a home, to travel, for make-up, cameras, wax-jobs, etc. These are not cheap things. WHERE did the two cash deposits come from that she made to that bank in California? It’s not libelous or slanderous to call someone a hoe if they are… so dial that info into her ‘reality’ and think about the fact that she might have been ‘robbing’ other guys to collect on her samples… and TA knew something about her that she just could not have revealed. She is a major piece of bad work and does not have the same reality as normal folks. And never will.

  87. By the way, Amanda Knox used the same “call the dead person’s phone” trick, but didn’t leave any messages. And Knox continues to assert her innocence, claiming she has been victimized by the Italian authorities, much like JA does. (You can read the latest on the efforts of volunteers who support justice for Meredith Kercher and Knox’s return to Italy here: http://www.truejustice.org/ee/index.php?/site/The_Amanda_Knox_Trainwreck_knox_invents/#When:12:45:58Z ). I rather doubt there will be a large cadre of legal volunteers – ever – for Jodi.

  88. Newbie says:

Dateline has Arias story on at this time.

  89. debl115 says:

Sandy, I live in the Seattle area; a lot of my kids’ friends went to the University of Washington (where she attended college prior to moving to Europe), and I never did believe Amanda Knox’s story. I think she’s a liar, just like JA and CA. And just like CA, but unlike JA, she seemingly got away with it. Makes me sick.

  90. Newbie~~dang, just noticed your comment now so guess it is almost over. I will have to wait until it comes on youtube. Thanks for the heads up/

  91. Sarah says:

If you click on the following: It’s part one of Datelines’: Obsession: Jodi Arias Story. It will take you to parts 2,3,4,5 and 6.

  92. Newbie says:

Thanks Sarah. I had phone calls and didn’t really get to see how they presented “ms.” Arias. I wonder how the rip is doing and if she has realized she has no opportunity of marriage, kids, grand children, face lifts ….lol…..FREEDOM…none !!

  93. Sarah says:

Just finished watching Obession. Basically it’s a recap of what you already know.

It was good to hear from some of Travis’ friends. Some you already know and have heard from. Good to hear them again.

  94. Bless your heart, Sarah. I just finished watching it. Dateline covered it very well…

    Happy Birthday Ms Newbie!!!

  95. Newbie says:

Thank you Snoops. I have to say at fifty I thought hmmmm…..sixty was a “really?” but this one at seventy…”Oh chit !”….lol.

  96. margaret says:

Sandy, somewhere in Det. Flores interview with jodis dad, he says that jodi was always calling her mother asking for money. He said that he would not send jodi money but her mother would. He said that jodi’s mother took her something like $ 2500 dollars the time she flew out to help jodi move. Evidently she was living off her folks and Travis.

Did everyone read Dave Hall’s facebook message to Gus Sercy.?Was not an invitation to tea and I think Gus should stay out of his way.. LOL I wonder if jodi has thought about her true freedom. Gonna be really hot..I finally finished watching ” the interview ” and that lying murderer is blaming every single thing she did on someone else . She tried to protect Travis name but Martinez would not do as she wanted..So Martinez ruined Travis name.. I wish I could be in that cell with her for a little while…

  97. Amber from Maryland says:

    Hi Newbie,
Seventy is good! I find that every decade is better than the last. I will be seventy two this summer. The trick is to stay healthy. I haven’t quite mastered that yet but I am working on it. Happy birthday!

We are lucky. Jodi Arias, if she lives to be seventy, will be reaping the results of her choices in life. I think both of us are infinitely better off than she will be.

  98. Newbie says:

Thanks Amber. It is just that seven number…..wow……lol.
I hope Jodi rots after listening to her last interview. You know I would like to be able to find pity for her but she opens her mouth and my ugliness jumps up !!!! Someone had said they did feel some sorrow for CA because of her mom, and I felt that at one time but Jodi….hmph.

  99. Amber from Maryland says:

    Hi Newbie

I agree with you that Jodi deserves the worst after her interview. I think that blaming the prosecution because she had to use her lies about Travis as a defense was beyond the pale. However, you reap what you sow. The TV excerpt cited above explaining life in prison doesn’t seem like any fun.

How does one find Dave Hall’s face book message to Gus? Can someone just quote it here? It sounds interesting but I can’t cope with face book.

  100. redrelaxed says:

    Happy birthday Newbie!

Here’s a little gem for you all… Lord knows I don’t have a frame of reference but this is enlightening as far as understanding how JA’s mind works.

PS~ I’ll see if I can find the link for Dave Hall.

  102. redrelaxed says:

This is copied and pasted and is the quote from Dave Hall’s facebook page as requested.

“Gus Searcy, I have bit my tongue and not commented on the horrible, cruel lies you have been telling about my friend Travis Alexander for months. You are no better then Jodi Arias whom you seem to be obsessed with. Please go away and stop making a fool of yourself. You are an embarrassment to our company and the human race”

  103. margaret says:

Happy Birthday Newbie,, In July I will go to the 71 mark. I just don’t see why things just want to stop working at an older year.. Imiss my eyesight most of all, I hate eyeglasses. I feel honored to be a part of all the dignity and wisdom from you all.

I replayed the interview tape to make sure I understood what jodi said .. She says that she wants the DP because that would mean ” freedom ” for her, because she doesn’t want to be in one place all of her life.. What ??? Does she know what death is? I don’t see any repentance coming from her, so what does she think, that she will die and come back to life and go on her merry way.? I try so hard to try to understand her way of thinking but I just can’t.. I know she knows about Heaven and Hell , and I know she thinks she knows everthing, but I think she must have her own version..That woman can rattle my brain…..

    HAPPY MOTHERS DAY EVERYONE ! ! !

  104. Where the hell are all you old people coming from? Seventies?? OMG… how ancient!! Oops, almost forgot… I’ve got you all beat but aint telling you by how much.

  105. gramared says:

Add one more, Snoopy! Birds of a feather…….

  106. Amber from Maryland says:

    Hi Everybody

Thanks Red for the cut in paste from Dave Hall. I just cannot cope with Face Book.

I think that those of us in our seventies have more trouble understanding Jodi’s generation and behavior. Part of the problem could be that we weren’t raised in an era in which psychopathic lying such as demonstrated by Jodi and Casey and according to some people Amanda Knox were permitted or even considered.

  107. margaret says:

Ha ha ,I love you people….Snoops you have been busy , I see.. Great post, you wrapped up this loooonnngg trial in a very good article..Iwatched the video that you put a link to, interesting what her lawyers told her to do Since she has no mitigating factors.., Think she will listen…

  108. redrelaxed says:

Motion denied. Boy that didn’t take long!
Guess this is what was going on behind closed doors in chamber…
