Narcissism refers to a mental disorder which involves excessive admiration and love with one’s self. It is also characterized by a need for admiration and attention from others as well as an exaggerated sense of self-importance
We all like to feel good about ourselves but there is a limit to what extent we will go to in order to achieve that. A narcissist will go beyond the limits, even if it means hurting others to reach their goal.
Some traits of Aggressive Narcissism….
Grandiose sense of self-worth
Lack of remorse or guilt
Callous/lack of empathy
Failure to accept responsibility for own actions
The narcissist thrives on attention and they must have it to survive. The spotlight must always be focused on them.
In the case of a male narcissist… They resent women as most are heterosexual and thus needed by them to an extent. They are indifferent and disinterested in them as individuals becoming readily bored by any partner and need to control them as well as enjoy abusing them both mentally and physically.
Can a narcissist truly feel love for his/her children?
Indeed, it is not possible. Not in the way “normal” humans interpret the word “love”… A narcissist can only love a child when it is convenience for them. They will only love a person when they need them, otherwise they will be distant. It is all about self-gratification.
Can a narcissist ever be a true friend?
It depends if someone has traits or fully blown NPD. Generally speaking, no I don’t think they can. Friendship is based on trust, how can you trust someone who is only friends with you because of what they can gain from you?
Can you manipulate a narcissist?
Yes you can and it’s rather easy to do so by playing into their ego.
When I met the one I knew, one of the first things I said to him was, “I am using you”. At some point later he told me that I was the most intelligent person he’d ever met. I think in general my life has been made better in knowing him and I think it has helped me understand some elements in my self that are closed off from emotion.
Do narcissists have any true religious beliefs?
God is everything the narcissist ever wants to be: omnipotent, omniscient, omnipresent, admired, much discussed, and awe inspiring. God is the narcissist’s ultimate grandiose fantasy. But God comes handy in other ways as well.

The big question is: How will Casey Anthony survive unless she is the center of attention? Will she be satisfied with living just a mundane life? For three years, even while she was in the jail cell for long days and nights, she knew on the outside world, everyone was talking about her. She was constantly receiving fan mail from secret admirers, some with proposals of marriage. How will her fans be able to reach her once she is out of jail? She will need a mailing address but will she dare to make her whereabouts known? I can see her getting access to a computer and joining Facebook and MySpace.
It will be interesting to see how long José Baez will stay tethered to Casey. IMO, Baez has always considered Casey his little gold mine. What will happen if all the offers for interviews, books and movies do not come pouring in? Baez and Casey have a lot in common. They both have big egos and are professional liars. I expect one of these days they will have a personality clash as ‘likes’ tend to repel.
