No Life Either Way~Jodi Arias

As the curtain slowly begins to fall on Jodi Arias’ show and tell, it is difficult to predict what this week will bring.
I understand that Kirk Nurmi filed yet another motion so expect more delays. The defense is asking Judge Stephens to not allow the state to put on any more witnesses in the penalty phase of this trial. Nurmi made a visit to Jodi at the jail and I am assuming he wanted her okay and signature on the motion.

It is still somewhat of a mystery what caused the court to be adjourned on Thursday. Darryl Brewer was due to make an impact statement and rumor says he will show his face this time. A girlfriend of Jodi’s was also going to speak and she has requested her identity be hidden. I would not be surprised if Jodi demanded that the video be shown of her girlfriend’s wedding during the impact statement. Jodi was the photographer at that wedding. Both Brewer and the friend were present at the court on Thursday.

Jodi is also going to address the jurors. She will be displaying some of her copyright infringed art work, traced pics from magazine ads. I cannot imagine Jodi ever being able to say she is sorry or taking any responsibility for the hurt she has caused so many by slaughtering their loved one. Once Jodi opens her mouth, it may be the clincher for the jurors to put ‘DEATH’ on that ballot.

Let’s hope that this coming week will bring closure!!

Death Wish-Jodi Arias

I believe in all likelihood Jodi Arias will receive the death penalty. Will she be put to death is another story. In the state of Arizona, the average time a person sits on death row before their execution is twelve years. During that length of time many changes can take place, one being the death penalty may be abolished.

When Jodi Arias prearranged an interview with FOX 10′s Troy Hayden she was of the mindset that the jurors would render a not guilty verdict. Why did she go through with the interview after the unanimous decision of premeditated Murder One? To answer that, you have to look deep inside the thoughts of a psychopath. Jodi had to go on camera in a last ditch attempt to save face by faulting everyone but herself. If you have watched the video clips of her interview with Hayden, you will understand and see how Jodi still had to be in control.

Arias told FOX 10 she has no mitigating factors

Jodi wants the death penalty or so she says but this is more manipulation. She hints at being suicidal so ends up in a different jail in a psyche ward and put on suicide watch. Jodi knew full well that this would delay the proceedings in the penalty phase. She cannot bear the thoughts of walking into that courtroom and facing Travis’ family and friends. Jodi will try every tactic in the following days/weeks to feign mental incompetency. “Mark my words on that one.”

From a very young age, who knows maybe it was at the time she was conceived, Jodi was incapable of having loving feelings for anyone but herself. A narcissist was born; a self-worshiping egotist who set out to show the world how grandiose she was. She admitted to not being able to get along with her parents yet added the empty words, “I still love them dearly.” Live in boyfriend, Bobby assaulted her, cheated on her yet she still bought him groceries and clothes. Matt McCarthy cheated on Jodi but they are still friends. Darryl Brewer did not want marriage or children but Jodi remained friends with him. What a benevolent caring person Jodi portrayed herself to be in her testimony. Martyrdom shining through here? All of her threats of suicide is a good indicator of such.

Then along comes Travis….

We have to take Jodi’s word on how their relationship really came about as to who approached whom. I will tell you one thing and I firmly believe this, Jodi did not love Travis, ever. She loved being with Travis and loved the limelight. She loved what Travis could provide. I am not sure she even enjoyed their sexual escapades. Jodi’s tools of her trade were her looks and her body and she found a perfect Mormon specimen, a virile man to apply them to.

I am not going into all the gory details of how Jodi seduced Travis. We’ve heard enough of them to last us a lifetime. We do know that a psychopathic stalker will not tolerate rejection. Even after Jodi slaughtered Travis, she trashed him on the witness stand, during her interview with Fox 10 and I predict, if she is ever strapped down to a guerney, her last words will be, “Travis was a hypocrite and a pedophile. He abused me and I had to defend myself.” Hurting others is like heroin to an addict when it comes to people like Jodi. She has no place in society since she can never be rehabilitated. God have mercy on her soul!!!

Caryn Kelley: Judge sets $100K bond for accused College Park killer

A judge today set a $100,000 bond for Caryn Kelley, the woman charged with first-degree murder in the shooting death of her boyfriend at her home in Orlando’s College Park community.

Circuit Judge Renee A. Roche said the state had not so far proved the standard “proof of guilt evident or presumption great” to deny Kelley pre-trial release. Attorney Diana Tennis on Tuesday asked Judge O.S. Eaton to order the release of documents from a 2006 incident, in which boyfriend Phillip Peatross was hospitalized under the state’s Baker Act, which allows people to be involuntarily committed for observation for their safety or the safety of others.

In what promises to be a particularly intriguing case, Caryn Kelley will go on trial Monday in the alleged slaying of her boyfriend Phillip Peatross. Kelley is charged with manslaughter with a weapon and could get up to 30 years in prison.

The 48-year-old told police she pulled out a gun after she thought Peatross, 46, was an intruder. He was at her home earlier in the night, but she said he left and made her alarm beep upon his return.

Kelley says Peatross fought her for the gun, putting it to his head. The two struggled, according to Kelley, and the gun went off.

Prosecutors say Kelley has changed her story several times, claiming she also fired the gun in self-defense and alleging that Peatross shot himself.

~~Florida vs George Zimmerman~~

For those who may be interested in Florida vs George Zimmerman, I will do my best to post updates and any related information here. Earlier I was following this case but due to taking an unbiased middle of the road stance, I could not find a blog where I was welcomed.

From the get go, this case was not just about a neighborhood watchman shooting an unarmed 17 year old male youth, it became a mixture of race, gun control, politics and the Stand Your Ground laws. It became a black or white issue and few blogs, if any, wanted to look at both sides without repercussions. As a result, I quit voicing my opinions on the case however, I plan to follow the case from a legal perspective and watch closely the strategy of the two sides.

You are welcome to comment on this thread or just read. I ask you to refrain from dicussing race and/or political issues. These two controversial topics can escalate into disagreements which I hope to avoid.

Zimmerman’s trial is scheduled to begin June 10th with jury selection.

Zimmerman will not be having a pre trial immunity hearing.

Zimmerman, as per Mark O’Mara has gained 110 pounds in body weight.

The Attorneys along with Judge Nelson met in chambers and an agreement was reached that the jurors will be sequestered.

~~Let Justice Prevail for Travis~~

Will Juan Martinez be able to prove beyond the shadow of a reasonable doubt that Jodi Ann Arias planned the murder of Travis Victor Alexander? I am putting all my faith in the prosecutor in that he will prove to a jury of 12 that Travis’ murder was premeditated. I expect the deliberations will not take very long and once a foreman is picked and they cast their first vote, that vote will be guilty by all twelve jurors.

Let’s just take a look at some of the evidence, proven and circumstantial.

1-Sex tape- Travis was unaware he was being recorded. If you listen to the tape, Jodi was directing the discussion. In fact, she never shut up. She asked him leading questions knowing full well that he was in a vulnerable state and would go along with anything she brought up. Phone sex is based on fantasy and the goal is to arouse your partner. Travis’ did not realize what Jodi was doing and what he thought was role playing was Jodi’s way of getting him to say things that never existed. She saved this sex tape as part of her plan.

2-The 25 caliber gun- LE testified it had all appearances of a staged robbery of Jodi’s g/father’s gun. How convenient!

3-Rental car- renting a car approx 90 miles from Yreka and did not want a red car.

4-The gas cans-Juan proved the third gas can purchased at Walmart was not returned. He also proved via gas purchases Jodi fabricated her story about wanting to save money on fuel.

5-Hair color-Jodi had a dye job in Salinas changing her hair color from blond to brunette. Juan supplied the pics to prove it.

6-License Plate-IMO, Jodi turned her back license plate upside down and took the front one off before entering the state of Utah so she WOULD be stopped by the police in Utah.

7-Ryan Burns-just an alibi for her road trip. She had to visit him and do some grinding to try and prove this was her sole reason for the trip.

8-Cancun- this was included in the 1001 places to see before you die and Jodi was not invited. I rate this one as the reason Jodi slaughtered Travis.

9-Stalking-I believe the jury heard enough bits of evidence to show Jodi had stalking tendencies. Testimony of Mimi Hall, Lisa Andrews, Dr DeMarte.

10-Lack of remorse- 48 hr tape, Mug Shot, Inside Edition, Jodi’s testimony

11-No purchases of gas in the state of Arizona

12-Turned cell phone off

Jodi Arias has all the traits of a psychopathic stalker. She is also a narcissist and takes sadistal pleasure in eliminating anyone who stands in her way. I am surprised she did not go after Mimi Hall but who knows, the 9mm may have been meant for Ms Hall.

When Jodi attended Travis’ Memorial Service, who was the first person she approached to speak with? You got it right, it was Ms Hall. I would love to know the words exchanged between them but I expect Jodi did most of the talking, “Oh Mimi, I am soooooo sorry you did not get to go to Cancun. You must have really been looking forward to the trip with Travis.” I will bet the farm it went something just like that.

Jodi had the audacity to send Travis’ grieving g/mother twenty white irises. Only a sadist would write a 7-8 page letter to Travis’ family on July 28th, the day Travis would have turned thirty.

Jodi did not love Travis. Narcissists are incapable of love except for themselves. They think they are superior to every other human being. Jodi wanted to be her own counsel so what does that tell you? Jodi to Travis on the sex tape-”You made me feel just like a goddess.”

Jodi couldn’t even get along with her mother and father and if all the truth were known put them through sheer hell.

Jodi spied on Bobby, her first boyfriend, by going back to the library and gaining access to his mail account. She invaded Travis’ privacy in a multiple of ways. Jodi had to know Travis’ every move because in her obsession she took ownership of him, body and soul. Even after she murdered Travis, she continued to take over his memories. Travis ended up being her trophy and to this day, she is satisified of her accomplishment.

Sadly the jurors are not privy to everything we are. I think they will probably agree that Jodi is a slut, whore, three hole wonder and evil to the core.

Frankly, I want the worst for Jodi. I am hoping she will end up sitting on death row for many years. I don’t want her to have access to any mirrors.
She took the life of a beautiful human being. He was not without fault but then again, are any of us?
